We all remember traditional animation, which has been carried out with hand drawn art. A group of animators illustrated and colored the pictures on celluloid. The celluloid was transparent sheets, the place that the hand drawings were transferred. Each of these "cells", since they were called, were then photographed individually which has a super 8 or Oxford camera. Whew ! Lots of work? Well after a while, technology has allowed animators to use CGI or Computer Generated Imagery to exchange the "painful" frustrating work of the past. Because most of us are now living in Wisconsin, weather changes, much like the wind to snow, to rain, to sun, and sometimes overnight! I know you may be thinking, I'm joking, but that is what life is like here. So, when considering stating "activities outside" all of these games/activities may be played in most weather. Granted, whenever we have snow, we aren't playing some of them. We're taking the hill inside our sleds! Woo Hoo! Let's get started: It was, supposedly, the ideal existence. The nuclear family lived in comfort. The patriarch a good job to provide for his family as well as the loving wife stayed in your own home to raise the children. The children grew up inside a world that's quickly shrinking. Radio and television were becoming permanent fixtures in every home. This technology introduced the Baby Boomers on the music in the 60s. Some in the big names in early 60s music all left one recording studio, the Sun Record Company, based out of Memphis, Tennessee. Artists like Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison all got their start on the Sun Record Company. Many of them followed the strategy designed by Presley. His music would be a mixture of gospel, blues and hillbilly music. B.B. King, who's probably the greatest blues musician of all time, knew of Presley well before he became famous. Presley combined blues, gospel, and hillbilly music to help develop a new form of music ... Rock and Roll. Ma Manasa Devi, for the snake goddess, is worshipped by Hindus, primarily the prevention and cure of snakebites and infectious sicknesses like smallpox and hen pox as effectively as the prosperity and fertility. She represents the each 'destruction' and 'regeneration', almost quite like a snake shedding its skin and being reborn. Art Clokey is the most suitable recognized for his development of the clay animation 'Gumby". The character, Gumby, was developed in their 1955 student film project while attending USC (University of Southern California). He pitched his film to Sam Engel of 20th Century Fox, and the rest is history. Clokey can be distinguished for creating clay animation commercials for Budweiser and Coca Cola.
